“A great way for non-profits to raise money”
One of the joys of life as a Transmedia Brandcasting is the opportunity to find exciting technologies that share revenue with regular people who when come together can make a huge impact in seconds.
That is the case with http://www.BowlingForCharity.com and we are excited that the team has chosen WCN for its Marketing Alliance. Transmediation is Cool, Hyper Transparent and engaging enough to recommend something to others.
It is my hope that you will sign up and join the fun while we do good around the world.
In the very near future we will be rolling out a Gaming Portal with all kinds of games for Charity. Please support this opportunity. It takes five minutes to set up a Customized Charity Tournament. Challenge your Friends and Associations to play and donate at the same time.
ABOUT BOWLING FOR CHARITY
Bowling for Charity has a mission of “raising funds for deserving non-profit organizations in order to make the world a better place”. Bowling for Charity can raise substantial funds for your 501 C-3 organization on a sustainable basis in a fun and entertaining way – with very little effort.
BOWLING TOURNAMENTS
Bowling for Charity has created a realistic bowling game that connects your supporters by providing a virtual bowling tournament with Facebook connects such as who is on the leader board. Creating a unique bowling tournament will only take a few minutes. Once the tournament is established, supporters can invite their friends and friends of friends to play – spreading the tournament virally through Facebook’s vast network of over 550 million members. Traditional methods of reaching players is also encouraged including media, e-mail, Twitter, website, and newsletters. Each additional tournament player will generate more revenue for your organization.
HOW DO BOWING TOURNAMENTS WORK
The first round of the bowling tournament is free. The player bowls a traditional 10 frame bowling game on their computer. A minimum number of points must be scored in order to progress to the semifinal and final rounds. Once a player scores the minimum number of points in the free qualifying round, they are encouraged to play in the semi-final and final rounds where they can register to play in a cash tournament with their friends. Each game in the advanced rounds cost $1 to play, and the minimum amount required to set up a Bowling for Charity account is $10. The semi-final round is one game, and the final round has three games. The winners of the tournament are determined by the players with the highest cumulative scores of the final round on the date and time the tournament ends.
PRIZES
Bowling is considered a “skill based game” like golf, allowing a cash progressive prize to be paid to the highest scoring players (in most states). The three highest scoring players will share ten percent in cash of the total revenue generated by the tournament. New tournaments can automatically run weekly or monthly attracting both current and new players to join in the fun and win cash prizes.
WHAT PERCENTAGE WILL YOUR ORGANIZATION MAKE
Non-profits will receive 100% of the net revenue from each tournament with no effort other than getting the word out. Net revenue is defined as total revenue for each tournament minus direct expenses which include game licensing fees, website hosting, bandwidth, marketing, and prize money.
FACEBOOK MARKET
One of the biggest draws to Facebook are the games – a very lucrative business. As an example, the company that owns Farmville is bringing in $450M annually from their Facebook games.
SKILL BASED GAMING MARKET
Skill based gaming is a $2.26 billion dollar industry
