  3. Al Sharpton should understand that it is the likes of him who are tools in the hands of the Left/liberals. They give a victimization narrative, almost as if an excuse for failure, and a entitlement narrative that keeps people, especially blacks as economic slaves to the govt/Left. It is the Left/liberal narratives on family, abortion etc that are most brutalizing to the blacks and breaking up their families.
Cain is absolutely right on welfare, when he says ‘Help those who themselves’. There is pride in empowerment/achievement, hard work, developing skills/talents, achieving business leadership, growing up corporate ladder, technical expertise, entrepreneurship etc. Thanks to the tools in the hands of the Left/liberals, it is difficult to explain to many black youth today, that there is no pride in giving excuses for failure, no pride in being economic slaves of govt without self-reliance, no pride in breaking families, single parent families, aborting babies etc. Many like Herman Cain are fighting this Left/liberal menace which is impacting blacks the most.

  4. Fresh Look, exactly how many people have you met who have told you they are proud of coming from, or being responsible for, a broken home? Or being on welfare, or in having had an abortion? And surely the Left/Liberal menaces who espoused pride in these things have names you can share with us, along with links to the speeches they gave in which they do so? By the way, congratulations on the fabulous use of irony in your chosen nickname…..
