Congratulations to TV One for this great program looking back at the coolest culture icons in the Black Community. What a breath of fresh air. When I caught it this afternoon the show covered the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s using various hosts who in their own right rocked the house.
With a great band Mint Condition this talk show covers a lot of ground, and this network executive had to blog about this program and it is so good to see folks like Jayne Kennedy, Sinbad, Dougie Fresh, and the many guests. It is so good to catch up on what is happening now with our stars who are still putting it down.
WAY BLACK WHEN rolls out the red carpet for its audience and provides us with quality entertainment that we have been looking for a long long time.
As a network executive myself I can truly appreciate the work it took to bring this to the television screen. I am truly impressed with how TV One is evolving. Cathy and Alfred, know we are taking notes and appreciate the ground breaking content you are developing.
Capturing Culture is so important and Way Black When accomplishes that for the Black Community. I watched a promo today for BounceTV a new Broadcast Network being launched by Andrew Young and Martin Luther King III, spoke about a little known fact about that there are 80 television networks serving the Latino Community and 3 serving the black community.
It is a known fact that Africans in America watch more television than any other group but are hard pressed to find quality content.
Now let me tell you what really excites me about TV One, Bounce and yes even BET. Using Transmedia Brandcasting we can monetize these videos to drive more traffic and revenue for independent producers so more content can be created cost effectively.
We so look forward to serving and creating Transmedia Brandcasting Revenue Share Communities.
