Stephanie L. Carhee is the President and Founder of UC Interlink, Inc (UCI) a consulting and training firm based in Chicago, Illinois. As a Senior Technology Advisor who has worked in the technology industry for 12 years for which 9 of those years she served as the Senior IP Telephony Advisor at Cisco Systems™. At Cisco, Ms. Carhee also served as the Senior Sales Business Development Manager, with responsibilities for the go-to-market strategy for how Cisco delivers and sells Unified Communications solutions within the Central Enterprise Sales Organization. With yearly revenue of $150M in products and services; key responsibilities in addition to overall management and execution of area sales goals and initiatives, was to drive area cross-functional alignment across the enterprise in the area of sales enablement, training, professional services, marketing, demand generation, channel partner development, account management support and sales business development. In 2001, Ms. Carhee led the conversion that completed the largest enterprise-wide IP Telephony implementation in industry history (over 25,000 users and devices) with a cross-functional team of top Project Managers, Design Engineers, Support Team, CCIEs, Technical Marketing Engineers, Systems Engineers, and IP Telephony Partners. This early adoption of an emerging technology allowed Stephanie to leverage her expertise in human capital performance optimization, strategic planning, technology adoption, convergence of voice/data practice development, governance, process reengineering, organizational change management, and strategic program management. Stephanie was also instrumental in defining a proven lifecycle methodology that is used today to accelerate customer implementation success as well as a tool to train Cisco’s integration partners on how to properly prepare, plan, design, implement and operate an IP Telephony solution, for which she earned the Cisco 2004 Excellence Award.
Stephanie is an experienced, dynamic speaker and an acknowledged subject matter expert in the processes and procedures surrounding the adoption and implementation of Advanced and Emerging Technology solutions. As a published author, Stephanie’s work in the area of process development, change management and organizational transformation can be found in the widely-available 400-page published book, The Road to IP Telephony: How Cisco Systems Migrated from PBX to IP Telephony. Her best practices have been featured in IQ, Packet , eWeek, BusinessEdge and VoIP magazine. In 2008, Ms. Carhee left Cisco Systems to form a Unified Communications advisory consulting and training firm titled, UC Interlink, Inc. (UCI) for which she has built a cross-functional team of advisory staff and strategic partners to bring the success she helped Cisco realize by making her principles of lifecycle management, organizational transformation, operationally efficiency best practices and lessons learned available to UCI customers. Ms. Carhee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Communications.

Stephanie Carhee is a Senior Project Manager with Cisco’s IP Communications Services Marketing team. With more than 15 years of project management experience, Carhee was an IT project manager for voice services in the Strategic Program Management Group, and was team lead for Cisco’s migration to IP telephony, the largest deployment of its kind in the industry to date.
Stephanie L. Carhee has worked at Cisco Systems for nearly five years. Prior to moving to the IP Communications Enterprise Services Marketing team, Stephanie was an IP Telephony Implementation team lead within the Strategic Program Management Group in Cisco IT Voice Services. Her primary role was to lead the campus-wide migration to the Cisco IP Communications Solution. In May 2001, Stephanie led the conversion of the Cisco campus in San Jose, California, which involved 20,000 users and devices and was the largest deployment of IP Telephony in industry history. She led a cross-functional team that included top project managers, design engineers, support team, CCIEs, technical marketing engineers, systems engineers, and IP Telephony partners during the conversion.
Stephanie is an experienced, dynamic speaker and an acknowledged subject matter expert in the processes and procedures surrounding the deployment of an IP Telephony solution. Stephanie’s best practices have been featured in Cisco publications, such as iQ and Packet magazines. She has delivered hundreds of customer briefings around the country, including presentations at Networkers 2002, 2003, and 2004.
Today, Stephanie is leveraging her knowledge within the Cisco Customer Advocacy organization, where she is frequently asked to consult on customer engagements and various presales activities with top Cisco customers to duplicate the success realized by Cisco.
